Recently, one evening after my meditation a teacher called Ricardo appeared in my mind's eye. He was sitting at an easel and introduced himself to me as an artist and a scribe. He said he had previously incarnated as a teacher in the Jewish traditions and was going to teach me something that was old but that he would introduce it in a new form.
He offered me a rose and talked about the origins of form, saying that while the rose he had given me was a visual symbol, the “idea” of the rose is more subtle and beyond even the idea is the “essence” of the rose which is formless.
Ricardo stopped at various intervals to encourage me to relax, as he said it was important to receive the information in a calm and composed state, otherwise the teaching could be distorted.
He then went on to draw a living image of what he called the “Symbol of the Avatar”. This he drew as the Infinity symbol, but then the centre point of the symbol where the lines intersect started to swell, forming a circle which he said was the emerging form of the avatar. The infinite producing something finite. Then as I watched the circle transformed into what looked like a stem, which Ricardo said was the tube through which the avatar passes into embodiment. He again reiterated that the avatar was to appear in public.
He finished by saying that he was helping me experience “essences”, which would all come together in the most beautiful way for the book I am currently developing based on themes from A Treatise on Cosmic Fire by Alice Bailey. Its a book that will look at the Universal Mind and the Cosmic Heart and how we as individual Spirits are deeply linked to the One Life.
